Lauren Hwang is a Christian counselor with experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. Her desire is to be a safe relationship in which others can experience grace, restoration, and freedom. She is continuously humbled and inspired by God’s grace for her and her clients throughout the counseling process.

As a counselor, Lauren primarily draws from existential, person-centered, and restorative approaches. She is passionate about dismantling shame and reclaiming truth. She believes that experiencing love and trust in relationship empowers us to grow. When we know we are loved and safe, we can freely and courageously choose that which brings life for ourselves and others. Additionally, Lauren has a deep appreciation for multicultural counseling. Having lived in the US, South Korea, and Singapore, Lauren is committed to honoring and cherishing cultural stories in the counseling process.

Lauren is married to her college sweetheart. She loves to host and enjoys spending time with her community.
