Being Together

Groups provide a unique opportunity to enter into a place where love and safety are intentionally cultivated, while others are journeying with us. Change happens in the context of relationship, and the group process always begins with a relational foundation. Group counselors are adept at guiding through the rough and the calm; the crooked and the straight.

Learning Together

The process of groups is the power of groups. Lasting change is discovered in how we experience one another, as our expectations of ourselves and others are challenged. To move from these expectations into the freedom for which we were designed is the powerful learning provided by groups.

CS Christian Counseling's approach to groups is one that first emphasizes the critical need we all have for our stories to be heard and known.  Moving from intellectually sharing the details of our lives to building a sense of knowing one another and being together in the context of relationship is a process for which we rarely make time, but it is the crucible for change.  In the context of confidentiality and safety, trust can be shared, hurts can be healed, paths can be explored, and life, in all of its complexity, can be celebrated.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.
