Camille Carter
Practicum Student Counselor
Camille is currently a Practicum Student at Dallas Theological Seminary, whose focus uses existential, narrative, and restorative therapy. She incorporates a variety of techniques and resources in her approach, grounded in the belief that each individual is uniquely created by God, and therefore, each client's care will be personalized to best meet their specific needs. Camille strives to create an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported—an atmosphere that encourages individuals to explore and express experiences and emotions that might otherwise be difficult to share. Her goal is to empower clients to recognize the inner strength they possess, enabling them to confront life's challenges with confidence and resilience. Camille is committed to helping clients live authentically, with boldness and alignment to their values and goals.
With a deep curiosity about the uniqueness of each person’s story, Camille is passionate about helping individuals cultivate a meaningful relationship with themselves and build healthy, fulfilling connections with others. She believes that by gaining insight into how past experiences influence present circumstances, clients can make intentional choices to create a new and more empowering future. Often, we wish we had approached certain situations differently; Camille is eager to guide you toward engaging with the world in a way that reflects your deepest beliefs and values.

Camille is the loudest and the proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie class of 2020! She has a deep love for all things College Station, especially Aggie sports—GIG’EM! Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Camille enjoys reading, playing pickleball and volleyball, and cherishing time with her family and friends. She’s especially grateful that all four of her brothers live nearby, as it allows her to spend lots of quality time with her beloved niece and nephews. Camille loves bringing people together and creating memorable moments with those she cares about.
