Taylor Blattman

Practicum Student Counselor


Taylor is a Practicum student counselor at Dallas Theological Seminary. She desires for each of her clients to know they are deeply cared for and do not have to navigate their pain alone. Taylor’s goal is to create a safe environment and meaningful connection to bring healing and restoration. Rooted in her faith, she partners with clients to share their story and explore avenues for change.

Throughout her life, Taylor has loved building relationships and investing in people. Her passion for walking alongside others grappling with life’s pains led her to pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling. Because of her belief that healing happens in relationship, she counsels with a client-centered, restorative and existential approach to counseling.

Taylor has a heart for women and teens who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, identity, and familial conflict. She currently serves at her church as the Junior High Girls Youth Leader and meets regularly with high school students as well. In her free time, Taylor enjoys cooking, doing the New York Times crossword with her husband, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
